It’s All About Jesus
Since Jesus first walked this earth, people and groups have sought to define Him in terms of their own worldviews. With so many people offering their own opinions of Jesus, the truth can get buried in a mix of half-truths and personal preferences. To see who Jesus truly is, we must go back to the witness of those who walked with Him. In the Gospel of Luke, the first-century writer “carefully investigated everything from the very first” (Luke 1:3). As we see what Jesus said and did, we clearly see His identity—who Jesus really is.
Being an Authentic
Our culture typically treats the church as little more than an institution, a religious group, a voting bloc, or a tax-exempt non-profit organization. Sadly, there are entities that call themselves churches but they are churches in name only; from the beginning, God’s intention for the church is to be something far richer and more vibrant. As followers of Christ gather together, we are His church—His body—and as such, we serve God as we grow, minister, and do life together.
