Summer 2024 Overview
Promises We Can Count On
We are sadly familiar with broken promises. From politicians, employers, friends, and loved ones, we’ve experienced words that were never kept. We experience something wholly different from God. God is fully able to keep any promise He makes—and He will. We see this in covenants He made in the Bible. More than just some business arrangements, God’s covenants are built on a relationship He desires with us. In our world of broken promises, nothing offers more security than a relationship with the One who is faithful to His promises to us.
How This Study Fits YOU’s Discipleship Plan*
Engage with Scripture. As we walk through the six covenants God established, we can simultaneously see God’s ongoing relationship with us and the common thread that runs through the Bible of God’s plan for us.
More Than a Sidekick: Serving Alongside Others
While not everyone carries the title of leader, we are all called to be servants. God calls us to come alongside those in leadership positions to assist, support, and encourage them. While our titles and roles may be different, the work and ministry of those in these support positions are no less significant or impactful. The Bible shows us many people who played significant roles as they walked and served alongside prophets, kings, and those in leadership.
How This Study Fits YOU’s Discipleship Plan*
Serve God and Others. Regardless of our titles and roles, we are called to support and serve others. As we serve, we can help others fulfill their own call to service.
